Being an International Jet Setter, have been to Spain twice, I'm keen to see what you think is a cheap Foreign Holiday?

We want heat, but not to much of it, maybe 30 max, nice beaches, not madness but plenty of bars. Whats the cheap countries? What time of year?

Hmmm.....Beaches, sunshine and bars is usually the Med Countries....Dont know which is cheapest. You could try the Black Sea resorts of Romania and Bulgaria.....Very cheap in these countries but more expensive to get there...

There are a few thing you need to consider , do you want to be with lots of other people, what time of year, how long do you want to be away for, how many flying hours can you put up with. Presumably you are not thinking of going in the M/H.

Turkey, in and around Bodrum or Kusadasi..... but heat can hit higher than Spain.
Hard to beat The Costas, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benidorm, Salou ..... really from Marbella to Barcelona.

No question. Croatia! It has everything except the pomposity of France, the Full English Breakfast of Spain, and the crowds of the algarve. Fair prices and sh*t loads to see.

Algarve. April/May Sept./Oct.
Flights are generally not too pricey if booked in advance. Faro has a lot to offer as does Olhao and Tavira. Nice towns , people and cuisine.

It's amazing what happens when you post to MHC.

After my post last night I got an offer from a craic'er (who shall remain nameless) to visit him and his wife in his holiday home in Spain :) - flights only needed :)

What a community we have !!

I've been told I'm still looking for those details in post 1, only for the end of April. Apparently we have a 30 year wedding anniversary 🤔😁

I like Portugal, all along the Algarve. Great beaches and plenty of sun late August/September. Don’t know what prices are like now but used to be dead cheap when we first took the MH We are going for a few days in November for the missus birthday and going to hire a car to go to all the places we used to visit.

If you go anytime when schools are not off it is usually cheaper also if you are prepared o drop everything and go last minute you can get great deals, I think my best deal was Tunisia for a week half board for £130 from Belfast.

If you see anything ask others have they been and what they think about it, but what one person enjoys another may hate!

Following this with interest
Have a week off work in October and fancy a bit of sunshine.
Haven't been on a hotel holiday for years.
The heat might help John's back as long as he can survive the plane journey.

A friend of mine and his wife went on an all inclusive to Lanzarote last month. They had never done one before but said it was fantastic....All the grub and drink you could possibly want and he hardly spent a thing........

We done Lanzarote last January and found it very cheap, lovely and warm, and hired a car to see some beautiful countryside even taking in a buggy safari which was a convoy of self drive double seater buggies.
Also done Benidorm last Halloween and found it to be brilliant entertainment great beachs and brilliant watering holes.
