Restoring yellowed light fittings

Some of you may remember the piece I did on the Coachmen Thread about restoring old (vintage) ceiling light fittings that have yellowed with age.

Well, just to give a bit of an update, after a few months I noticed they started to rapidly return to their original yellow colour. Especially when they were exposed to natural daylight.

A Pity, especially after going to the effort of trying to bleach them with chemicals & UV light.

Ah well, it was worth a try. I may just shoot them with a few coats of rattle-can paint instead.
