Correct tyre pressures

I recently fitted the TyrePal TPMS and wanted to ensure started off with the correct tyre pressures. I have Continental Vanco Camper tyres 215/70 R15 109R fitted. I recently visited Loughbrickland weigh bridge fully laden and got the following: The front axle weight is 1580kg; rear axle 1850kg. I then contacted Continental and asked them to advise as to the correct tyre pressures for this set up.
I received a very prompt reply as follows,

Thank you for your email.

Based on following:

ContiVanco Camper 215/70 R15 (CP*) 109 R tyres.

Front Axle: 1580Kg – 3.5 bar/ 50.8psi (maximum weight for pressure given= 1615 kg)

Rear Axle:(single fitment) 1850 Kg – 5.00 bar/ 72.5 psi (maximum weight for pressure given= 1910kg)

Rear Axle:(twinned fitment)1850 Kg - 3.0 bar/ 43.5 psi (maximum weight for pressure given= 2640kg).
I have included the chart for these specific tyres.

I hope this helps.

I tried to include the chart but doesn't appear to have pasted over.

Great response from Continental. I too have tpms, it's a Tyreminder system that came with it when I bought it an, as per notes in the instructions, the fronts are 75 psi and the rears (duals) are 65 psi. Having got them all checked recently and set the these pressures, I was a little concerned when the the temp. readings on a long run rose as did the pressures, as much as 4/5 psi per tyre.

My tyre pressures rise as much as 8-9 psi on the rear and 5-6 on the front on a long run, or a hot one, as I recently discovered. I actually dropped my rear tyres by 5 psi each in anticipation of the hot weather here. It worked well keeping the reared in the low 80psi on a run. They are set at 72 psi at 15°. Fronts set at 67 psi

During the Summer try drilling holes in your tires to let the Hot air out ( heat expands)!

And here was I, trying to be all knowledgeable, for a change🤪🤪. Some of you lads take nothing serious.🙄 C’mon, this is a serious topic...🤓 you might get an extra 0.0003 miles to the gallon, if you have them exactly at the correct pressure🤯
