Dingle Decision!

Hi Team... we're thinking of heading over to Dingle next week for a few nights. We haven't been for a while, and the last time we split our overnights between Inch beach and Paudie's pub at Ventry.....mainly because we weren't sure about the night-time parking situation in Dingle itself. Has anyone any recent experience of parking in the main car -park overnight? I recall a fair few signs saying it wasn't permitted, but the MH Parking App seems to suggest it's ok.
Any advice appreciated, and/or alternative suggestions in the area, preferably where there would be a few other campers staying!
Thanks in advance!

Don't park in the bus bays or the cross hatched area it pisses off the locales. just pay and make sure you're ticket is visible.
If its a busy weekend the sometimes leave the barrier open in the little carpark across from Centra Supermarket behind the bottle bank. its free.

Many thanks! We'll check that out.
Might also head over to Ventry to see if there are other options besides Paudie O'Shea's car park.

There's another carpark on the Spa road beside Lidl. It had no height barriers the last time I was there but I didn't overnight. It's on a bit of an incline so may only be a few spaces really suitable for parking up. It's also beside the Mart so will be very busy on mart mornings.

Thanks again, that looks like a good spot. Wild camping whenever we can...sites are just getting too expensive!

We parked a couple of weeks ago in the pier car park. The landlord of the pub opposite told us that there are vans parked there every night without problems. We are just over 8m long but didn't use the bus bays. There's an overhang on the grass bit where we fitted comfortably.
