As of today we are now official campervanners...or whatever the collective is. We very happily drove home our 1988 Talbot Express Merlin 2.5d. Looking forward to many adventures with our new friend Tessie! Absolutely loving the nostalgic vintage feel, and finding it great fun to drive. Tomorrow the decorating and fancying up begins!

Josephine and Dominic

Don't go mad buying the "must haves".

3 years since buying Daisy and we haven't used most of them

There is not like a new adventure in life.
Best of luck with your wagon.
My only recommendation would be to throw a bit of love under the bonnet.
A fresh timing belt would be a wise investment.
A good check on water hoses and the radiator is worth while.
After that its simple mechanics.
Wishing you many happy miles.

Thanks for all the well wishes !

We were lucky to find a seller who kept all their repair receipts, CVRT reports etc.

It got a new timing belt last year, so we're very happy out!

Great reassurance.
Too many horror stories out there about a missed service costing thousands in damage.
