Good stuff, at least now you have a figure.
Enjoy the van now and hopefully meet on the road soon.

OK folks

Received today in post Revenue's notice regarding VRT to pay: €1.346 within 7 days.
Formula applied:

€1346 = (Cat.B OMSP €10500 VRT rate 13.3% - (VRT paid as Cat. C=€50)

Do you think that is a reasonable value?.

Honestly speaking, I was expecting to see valued near the market price, probably around 20K. So I was prepared with 2.600-3.000 euros in my wallet.

More than happy with this VRT quotation, more happier if was lower ;)

Got today in postmail Revenue's Notice certifying the conversion. Monday morning will be at Motor Tax Office to pay the tax and logbook replacement. Looks like the process of Conversion works even took quite a long time, more than expected.

Is there any allowance for the vrt that was already paid when it was registered as a van when new?

Brilliant well done  have you documented the whole thing with photos as it's the one thing that converters want to know is,how someone else got on,you are now the most up-to-date expert.
Congratulation. happy days.
