While doing some work on the flushing system ,I came across this on the floor of the cabinet it has a number on it 23079 1 no idea what it is. And did not remove it from anything.

Dave .you are just like the cassette, useful and full of it sometimes. but the tears are running from laughing, I actually taught that is what it was, but I couldn't find the place :D

It's the little panel that sits behind the flush button internally, I presume keeping it in place and restricting movement when pushed externally. Though there are 3 holes it only fits one way and I presume model type determines how it fits. I know a certain amount about flush mechanism as you might see from a previous post. I'll go out and get my spare unit, take a pic and post shortly. Ni neart go cur le chéile! (''Every little helps'' said the woman when she threw the piss pot into the ocean!!)
