Streaming is very poor.netlix is slightly better than nowtv. Can I put it in a dongle or something. As you know I am not very technical. 🤔

Maybe look into getting a 4G WiFi system if you have good mobile coverage

If you cant get better broadband then look at what signal strength is like for mobile coverage and what sort of speed you get on that. With the likes of Three they offer Gobinge which means that anything from Netflix, Deezer etc doesn't come out of your bundle. Most mobile providers also now have a home based dongle/routers to facilitate this. If I remember right Ally ditched his landline and broadband to use mobile based internet.

I ditched the land line and although we have poor coverage in our area I went with the 3 homefi when we moved house in November. http://www.three.co.uk/Discove…lour=Black
It has unlimited data and go binge for netflix etc.
I used the wee 3 mifi I have for the van initially and was getting speeds of up to 5 down and 1 up. With the homefi I am getting 30 -40 down and 5 - 8 upload. I then use 3 in touch to make the phones work in the house as the phone coverage is pretty poor too. All this for around 20 quid a month. This is the 4th month running it and have had no problems.
Although check first with 3 what they expect for coverage in your area.

Liz, have a look at Imagine Broadband. its a 5G wireless service and MAY be available in your area. I got it installed a couple of years ago and good speeds, in excess of 100mb download and 20+ upload and limited to 50GB daily, but it doesnt cut off, just throttled back to about 20mb.
We have fibre broadband passing us now with speeds of 300mb but Im still with imagine. An excellent service.
Details of Imagine Broadband is HERE.
