La Vallee Houlgate, Normandy

Hi guys anyone ever been to La Vallee campsite Houlgate ? Was just about to book as location seems v good but now Ive just read v mixed reviews on Tripadvisor....
Cote de Nacre seems to get better reviews but had liked the look of Houlgate town.

Good point. Going high season though...mid Aug so thought it might be risky not to book ahead.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 4 children at Easter 2 years ago (acsi rates). Stayed on our way home from Disney to ring close to Cherbourg and were pleasantly surprised that water park was open out of season. Despite the cold weather the kids had a ball in the pools, water slides etc. Toilets etc were modern and clean. It's in a great location right beside a beautiful beach and a town with lots of bars, restaurants etc.
We don't like staying in the same place twice but would definitely go back. In fact we're looking for something similar for this easter as we're over again exploring the D Day beaches.
