Bit of a problem my fridge is coming up fault nine this is a gas lockout to reset it you try lighting it 4 or 5 times ,you can hear the gas lighting and the igniter clicking but after around 30/40 seconds it cuts out again and help would be great am going to try cleaning the contacts in the connectors to see if this helps

Robert,
Can you post a picture of the front of the fridge, the control knob sides.
Had an issue with my brothers, if it’s the same on I may have info.

The fridge is a thetford N97 it is a pcb control panel,I got the problem sorted I hope what I discovered was that the igniter was two close to the flame outlet so it was continuous spark when the igniter finished sparking it cut of the gas must have Somthing to do with the pcb moving the spark away till it only sparked a few times seems to have sorted it 🤞

Good stuff Robert. That’s the same one as my brothers...... took me ages to get to the bottom of it.
Thought it was the magnetic hold on the gas supply, could get it to run manually holding it open, the flame supplied power to hold the magnetic control back.... but it would go out.

Turned out it was the switch on the left, the one that you put to ‘gas’...... it has a No/Nc type of switch that switches the gas supply hold valve in the NO position........ the contracts inside it were dirty with fluff.......
Sorted it with compressed air and contact cleaner.

Is there a continuos spark when the switch inside is activated and this goes out when the gas is burning?

Yep that right I moved the spark away fro the bunner till the spark was just making the jump and after testing all day yesterday and this morning working great ,the flame is noisey so I’ve bought a new bunner and jet al in all it’s cost me around £200+ to fix it
