It's not as good as a karcher and I haven't used a Lidl one so can't compare it but it does the job OK

I've got the Karcher one, really does do what it says on the tin  :-)
No more waiting for the windscreen to defog on cold mornings.
I also use it to dry off the van after washing, it avoids getting watermarks

Normally Lidl stuff is good but we bought one of those Vac a couple of years ago , it worked ok ( not great) but when we went to re charge it , it wouldn't take the charge , got a refund. Forked out for the expensive Karcher , excellent machine and still going strong. The windscreen in our old Niesmann is massive , sometimes could get close to half a litre of water off it , the Karcher is a godsend.
So unless Lidls have changed to a different supplier of these I would'nt bother.

After the comments we brought back Lidl version and bought the Karcher, won’t know how it works till we go away again, though could try in the shower.

Picked up Karcher WV1 Plus ( includes spray bottle plus microfibre wiping cloth and window cleaner concentrate ) for €49 in B&Q Airside, Swords. Same machine only ( no cleaning kit) €55 in Woodies who are doing a special on the WV2 plus ( same kit with 280mm head as opposed to WV1 which has a 250mm head ) for €65. Looking forward to dealing easily with condensation from here on in.
