Maybe some justice at last.
Looks like the W.B.Yeats is set to cost Irish Ferries more money
Irish Ferries has been ordered to pay compensation to passengers whose travel plans were impacted by the cancellation last summer of planned sailings on its new WB Yeats vessel.

Anyone who was effected should make a claim no matter what deal they were given by the company.

Interesting but very dated now. People smoking in the bars etc. I don’t think they would sail now in the conditions that the programme was filmed under, southerly gale with gusts to 60 mph.
The comments at the end are so dated as well. “It is important to have an Irish ferry sailing under an Irish flag with an Irish crew!
Having said that it was a pleasant watch.

A mate of mine was on the wb yeats two weeks ago to France.
It was very quiet. Most of the passengers were school kids on bus tours. He was in club class, so he didn't see much of them.
However the eight truck loads of livestock on board did have an odour.
He did comment that the crew are still learning the new ship and its systems from his observations.

Probably lorry loads of dairy bull calves as there has been a lot in the Agri press recently about a lack of boat capacity to get them shipped to France/ Cherbourg. This is peak time for them at the moment. Should be less over the summer I would think.
