New layout for the forum

 ·
Posted: 02.03.2019  ·  #1
There was over 40 sections to mhc, some of which haven't been used in the last few months.
As part of a housekeeping exercise to tidy up the forum and make it more user friendly, there has been an reorganisation happening over the weekend. The vast majority of changes will not effect the general membership of mhc.
Premium section is no longer on the mhc homepage.
Product and service reviews is gone to the general forum.
Travel blogs and departure lounge is now part of the club section.
The old premium chat is now closed.
Club chat will now be the place for topics of a sensitive nature to be discussed by mhcc members
There are some of the topics in the old premium section which people may want to add to or update.
Please send a PM to admin or mods and one of us will move the entire topic to mhcc section.
We have a software update coming in the next month or so and this was necessary in order for the software developers to deliver on time.
If you have any problems, please let us know and we will deal with them according.
Many thanks,
Malcolm

As the moving of multiple topics etc is quite a drawn out affair we will be compiling a list from other users of items they would like moved to complete it in one go, so in the mean time can you give us a list of topics which you feel you would like moved so we can review them and then move with everyone elses

John,. How can I give you a list when "Premium section is now closed" and I cannot select any post or Topics to give you the list.? But I do know there is about 80 + or so of posts / topics that I was subscribed to.
With useful Information that I and others have posted, that I now cannot access.
I really think that this decision by the admin team is a little unfair .. Just Saying..

Has anyone else experienced problems or issues with the new format?
Please let us know immediately because now is the time for us to take action to rectify.
Many thanks for your understanding because reorganisation/ upgrades are just as stressful on the mhc background team. We always think that we have overlooked something, until we have successfully completed the exercise.
Thanks for your patience
Malcolm.

Well for me... I just go with the flow. Fair f#%ks to everyone who is involved in the upkeep of this forum. Whatever ye all decide, I’m good with it. Well done, one and all of you, and it’s good to see Old red beard is still keeping a weather eye on proceedings🤫

I think the most most important thing is what's going to happen to Blag's Coachmen Leprechaun thread?
Have been following it for years and now it's gone just as it looked like he might get it finished??? :'(

Blag has 2 topic going, The mh rebuild and other projects both of which are very popular here.
Once Blag requests us to move these topics, we can certainly accommodate him.
However it will be Blags decision as to where the topics will be published, on the general mhc section here, or on the club chat.
Blag is author and main contributor to these topics and it's only fair for him to decide the new location.
The upside of this might motivate blag to finish the mh quicker.
