Solar Panel Split Charger

Morning All!
Just wondering if anyone knows someone close to Dublin to fit a split charger to my solar panel? My panel seems to only charge my leisure batteries (which now appear to be knackered), But on my solar control panel there does seem to be the option to also run to the main engine battery. I have issues with my engine battery if not started regularly and is an absolute pain in the a*s to reach the terminals to jump! So would like the solar panel to trickle charge the main battery too! Any help is greatly appreciated

Keith have a word with solar experts
JTM Power

I have a battery combiner from them
Cyrix-ct 12/24V-120A Intelligent Battery Combiner. When your leisure batt is charged it switches over to charge your main batt.
When wired correctly it can also be switched on in order to use your leisure battery to start your engine if you have a flat main battery.

Is your Solar Controller a dual battery type then? If so it should be straight forward to connect up your starter battery straight off the controller.

Beware, If the leisure battery is a genuine deep cycle battery it will not be suitable for engine starting.
If it's one of the dual purpose (jack of all trades but master of none) type often sold as a 'leisure' battery very heavy cabling will be needed if it's any distance from the starter.

My panel seems identical to what baguette has so I will take a picture tomorrow and send to JTM and see what they think, Hopefully it will be a relatively easy process (fingers crossed)
