I believe that some campsites don't allow them any more because they blow down and the wreckage is left behind if that's where you're thinking of using it

That's exactly why I want a good quality one that wont fall to pieces in the first puff of wind, in my very limited experience of campsites I've never heard of them not being allowed but I stand to be corrected ?????

An inflatable gazebo is the way to go. There are light as a feather and take up less room.
While they are expensive , €300 plus, they can withstand hardship, if the ground is good to hold pegs.
Vango, kampa would be leading brands.
We have a Vango Airbeam about 3×3 metres which has with stood gales on Irish coasts.
As Eirebus has mentioned, some commercial sites have banned metal bars types as they are useless.
