the wind got the better of me silvers last night, parked at home.
The 3 wipers hold down the front screen, the wind seems to get in behind it.
Anyone else have the same problem
I need to add additional anchor points.
they slide int a top track and tie off with a ribbon tape to a saddle on the sides , then the wipers on the front

I might get slated for this post by certain owners of a certain brand 😄

But here goes.... I find the tight fitting of the make Silver Screens the best for staying on in strong winds. That other popular brand has some issues, as I have seen and heard reports off.

Taylor made for me sent back SS's as to light (honest)

Each to their own of course. 👍

SS always been more than sufficient for us and never needed to be tied. (Unlike their owner)

I have four bungee cords running across base of material from being hooked on wheels. Not to be confused with Hooked on Classics!

Mine are silverscreen
They seem well made, on my van they would need an additional anchor point at the bottom of the velcro joint left and right
i will ask them about this, found them good to deal with

Some people think that they have silver screens when in fact they have poor replicas,i have silverscreens and they are quite bulky when rolling them up to put away.
They are hooked over top of doors and tied at door handles, also velcro taped in the middle at the base of the wipers with wipers sitting on top and i have been out in some stormey conditions and never had a problem.

(,also velcro taped in the middle at the base of the wipers)

that would help in my case, are yours from silverscreens?

Yes they are genuine silverscreens and I have had them about 7 years.

I recently purchased a new set of Silver Screens and they are a perfect fit. No problem thus far with them staying on and no additional bungee cords or fasteners needed. Also have to say I thought their the service was excellent.
