Hello

I just purchased a 1991 Dethleffs Globetrotter 1.9 TDI camper.
I'm wondering is there anywhere online that I could get a user manual.]
I've sent a message directly to Dethleffs uk branch so fingers crossed that they will have one.

I don't have any idea how everything works on the camper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Congratulations on your purchase, hope you have many happy years of motorhoming. I don't know about the manual but if you put in your location, county will do, you might have a fellow craicer close by who might be able to help you out a bit.

I've got a 1999. I emailed Dethleffs and they sent me a copy, and apologised that it was in German as at that time they weren't exporting to UK/Ireland.
Sorry, should have said I wrote to Dethleffs in Germany. There is also a user group in England that has helped me in the past.

Haynes workshop manauls have book for older campers. While it is a repair manual, it will show you how all of the basics work. If you are handy with your hands, it would be a wise investment for future upgrades.
Halfords.ie can order it in for mid €20ish.
Amazon, ebay, etc often have them secondhand for much less.

That is a great idea!!
I don't suppose there is anyone reading this in and around the Dublin area that could spare a half hour to go through how everything works on the camper!

The previous owners wife passed away shortly after buying the camper so he never got to use it much and therefor wasn't able to tell me how everything worked.

i have a hymer c524, and i am in Rush. I dont know if things work differently, but the basics should be the same. If i can help let me know.

We had a 1999 Dethleffs Globetrotter, we wrote to Dethleffs in UK. We got a manual but it wasn’t quite the right one.
Don’t have it any longer.
We are in Killiney, there a few members in and around this area.
