I looked at a Toyota coaster a few years ago, had the 1HJZ 4.2 I think. Ideal for a conversion but tbh conversions are a bit of a mess here in ROI with VRT and EU type approval is getting harder and harder to get through.

It you're handy with plywood, and patience enough to plan everything I'll say that the conversion should be handy enough... it's what comes after with engineering reports and that sort of stuff that would put me away.
