New Aire between Laragh and Glenmalure.

Was out for a drive in the car today and came across what loos to be a new Aire on the road between Laragh and Glenmalure about 2 km from the turn off from the R755 (Laragh to Rathdrum).

It's up an unpaved road for about 700m and it's a large flat gravel area with 7 large bays and plenty more parking. Water and chemical disposal on site. No idea who owns it or costs but it'll be a nice base for hill walking and solitude.

GPS 52.99190845,-6.32286776

Can't find anything on line about it but there was a german VW T5 there.

Will upload pics later.

Just a word of caution.

The access "road" is an unpaved track. We were up it yesterday on a dry day in a car and it was bumpy.

I stayed on this aire for last week for 3 nights 30 sept 2018
it is owned by a French lady who was very friendly
10 euro per night water and toilet emptying
very level did not need chocks
it is possible to walk from here to Glendalough and save the 15 euro parking fee for motorhomes (they said that fee ends at the end of oct )
never got a chance to do a review on the app as ended up in hospital but that's another story
