Our 10 reg transit mh went through it crvt test some weeks ago and pass with flying colours.
However the tester remarked about some surface rust starting on the rear underside. That evening I had a crawl under for a look.
While most of the orginal floor pan and chassis was sealed, it stops at the beginning of the rear spring. After this point, some surface rust has started, but it is wiping away with your finger with the exception of a couple stone chips.
Yesterday I picked up 5 litre cano waxoyl in Halfords.
Tomorrow, the plan is to drop the spare wheel and grey tank out of the chassis and give it a good blast of the power washer.
I understand that the waxoyl needs to be warmed up before applying but what is the easiest way of putting it on?
