Booking a vet appointment

If you are going to France for a number of weeks, do you book your vets appointment before you travel, or just book it whilst in France. What do most of you dog owners do.

No, book it there or most offer a walk in service.

Any idea of area you want to be in to see vet?
We use one in St.Lo but that is an option for a Cherbourg sailing.

Hi thanks, we are sailing from Calais back to UK on a Monday morning, so will want a vet on the Friday or Saturday around 150 miles max from Calais. We will be heading back cross country from la Rochelle, that's the cunning plan anyway.
