Not sure if this will land on the right doorstep, but it can be portable!
My SOG fan has stopped blowing, has anyone else had a similar issue?
The light comes on as usual beside the loo, and flashes as per normal, so there is power there. How could I find out if there is power going to the fan, or would that not be the issue?

Find the cables going into the fan maybe one has pulled shouldn’t be to hard to troubleshoot also check the micro switch under the toilet as it might have moved therefor not making contact

SOG came up in anther thread today, had a quick look at some youtube vids.

What I can't figure out is how do you empty the cassette seeing as it has a flexi pipe attached to it?

Looks like something that could be a DIY project

The flexi pipe pulls off and a stopper is pushed onto the connection to prevent spillage.
Yes you could fit it yourself if you were handy at diy. The scary bit is cutting the mechanism to fit micro switch

As onanother thread make your own save hundreds of pounds ,but back to your fan not working there are only two wires in the system if the light is coming on in the van you have power to the switch and light so the problem is from the switch to the fan

What would be wrong with a little on/off switch or a push to make / push to break switch mounted in a box convenient to operations?

Nothing I suppose. It’s getting everyone to remember to switch it on... and off all the time. Like anything if it’s not used it won’t work. With the micro switch when you open the blade, on it comes, and off again when you close it.

Turns out, damp or water had corroded part of the board containing the stuff for supplying current to the fan. The new kids on the block, Leisurecare.com found it.
Is that other cassette taken Raglanroad??
