Just saw this advert on Done Deal.

The EU vehicle Category is showing as N1 on the CVRT disc
N1 is a goods vehicle not exceeding 3,500kg GVW

The advertised vehicle is
a. not a Goods Vehicle
b. definitely exceeding 3,500kg GVW

If The RSA knew their stuff the CVRT disc would be M1 = Passenger Vehicle with not more than eight seats plus the driver's seat.

Notwithstanding all the above, it's an interesting motorhome.

From looking at the add, the real question is, it the camper taxed at the motorhome/camper rate?
If the camper is been still taxed at the commerical goods rate, €330 I think, the crvt disc would make sense.

Thing is Malcolm, it's not a 'vehicle for the carriage of goods', fact. It's a 'vehicle for the carriage of passengers', fact. It's a motor caravan, not a delivery van/truck.

The road tax is one thing. CVRT is different and actually identifying the vehicle is supposed to be part of the test, unlike taxing it which can be done online and without inspection.

Has it ever been changed from commercial (library van) to Motorhome when it was converted
