I all Was looking to get a map update of France for my Tom tom f..k Tom tom are looking for £60.00 anyone know another why to go to get a app for France to suit tom tom sat navs

Having been on a recent trip down the highways and byways of the midlands with a satnav and google maps having a competition to find the smallest road it could bring us down I've gone back to an old fashioned map and a list of junctions / road numbers.

I downloaded Navmii for my Iphone as a nav system in France and it worked pretty well, cost was 0, If I was buying a stand alone Sat-nav I'd be looking at an Xgody one which can be setup for motorhomes with height restrictions and so on.
35stg for one on a well known Auction site.
Free lifetime updates as well.

Buy the Tom Tom app for your phone it’s £15 a year and works well. Although caution is required at times as it does try and send you up some small roads. I use the Tom Tom app on my Motorbike,Car,Motorhome and for walking whenever I’m in a new city.

Thanks all will troll the net to see what I can come up with ,I know you can get a mini sd card with different countries on it just have to find one
