I use an electronic A-frame in the UK with independent servo and would like to take the toad to Ireland this autumn.
Could anyone tell me if A-frames are used in Ireland and what the official attitude is towards them.
Incidentally toured round France in 2015 ,no problems and met a toad lugger in France last month who also had no problems. That said France is the only EU country where I would use an A frame.I think the French are more tolerant partly because they were sold over there for quite a few years.

I have never had a problem in NI or ROI using an A-Frame and never heard of anyone else having an issue. Enjoy your holiday :)
