When i was a young lad my Grandfather smoked Sweet Afton like they were going out of fashion,
IR £1.37 from memory and i got to keep the 13p change out of the £1.50 for sweets, i was cursing the government when they put the tax up as i still got the £1.50 and told get me 20 fags but it ment less for sweets out of thr change

A guy whom used to work alongside my Father said "when they get to .50p, I'm stopping!" he was still smoking when we last knew him and they must of been around £3 a packet by then.

3rd day now cold turkey. Going well, have only punched the wife 3 times, kicked the dog once and shouted at the postman.

I *think* at 25mpg; it's about 70 miles in the motorhome per box saved ;)

see theres some store in the uk put out all their valentines day gifts for the wife, (if you believe in that sort of thing), chocolates, flowers, jewellery, trinkets, all nice and proper.
Right beside it they put, an ironing board, dish cloths, cleaning gear, kitchen utensils. Naturally they got hammered for being non pc.
Can no one take a joke anymore? :lol: :lol:
