Hi There,
Thinking of heading to Lough Ree East for the Weekend. Was wondering if anybody has stayed
here. Can't find many reviews online. Any info appreciated.

A lot of us on MHC have stayed there many times. A great site with great social room and right beside the Dog & Duck pub ;)

If its dry try to get right down beside the lake, lovely sunsets and you can still hook up. If your wire doesn't reach ask for another extension, no problem

John is the owner and is an absolute gentleman. He is soo laid back, that sometimes he is impossible to get on the phone.
We stayed there twice last year. It's an ideal place for kayaking, swimming etc.

We stayed there last June bank holiday, John is a gent and the site is very freindly, lots of permanent mobiles but all very freindly. We got great weather and you could have been in the south of France. Definitely recommend it, and it's also very close to Wineport Lodge if you want a posh night out

have to agree with all of the above.... John the owner is a gent very welcoming....has done great improvements over the winter season with gents toilets and continues to improve the hard pitches. We were there over the Easter weekend .... good value for money especially mentioned MHC... Dog & Duck good craic aswell with live entertainment over the Easter weekend

We might be heading to Lough Ree ourselves this weekend, had seen a few reviews on it and having a pub nearby is always nice! Battlebridge campsite was booked out so we tried here and John said to come on down.
