While not exactly the same but similar principal I researched a bicycle rack to attach to chassis for past 12months & indeed I got some excellent advice here on MHC.
I eventually made a choice between Memo Europe & Al Ko / Sawiko and felt Memo were best for my needs. Both do scooter racks. Spoke with Simon in Memo in Holland who has excellent English and he and his technical colleague gave knowledgeable advice.
While both Memo & Alko/Sawiko could supply but fitting was my next venture by a suitably qualified technician. I was very tempted to tackle this chapter personally but decided after more research on a company called Towtal in Stoke on Trent, UK where Phil & Paula proved very knowledgeable and helpful. Got the job done last week in a few hours and was facilitated with plug in overnighting in their secured rear yard.....nice people to deal with.
I might add here I did speak twice to a prominent MHC sponsor in May who was less than helpful bordering on rude who told me 'he had enough work of his own and could maybe fit me in next October' ....IMO sour grapes as the vehicle was not purchased at this firm !
