I know you are all having fabulous weather at home.
We have just had torrential rain all day yesterday and thunder and lightening, from 2-11.
Still raining this morning. I thought we had headed to where weather was best...not so.
We are just west of Clermont Ferrand.
How is the weather anywhere else in France?.
Though I shouldn’t complain only had a few wet days in the last 3 weeks.
On ferry in Cherbourg on 18th.

We are in St. Vincent Sur Jard, Vendée. Absolutely chucking it down, forecast for much the same all day. We have had reasonably good weather for the last 8 or 9 days, one bad thunderstorm during the night a couple of nights ago and one day of heavy rain last week, but I think we have been lucky so far. Will probably stay here another couple of days, thinking of heading to Bay of Roses, the forecast is better over that side.

We are near Agen having driven up from Barcelona. Good down there, but as soon as we crossed the mountains into France, it changed. Showers on and off and quite cloudy on the way up. Here for the last hour and so far lovely sunshine. How long it will last, who knows

Remember my first trip to France, last week in June first week in July 2007, rained for nearly the full 2 weeks ,
http://rebbyvid.blogspot.com/2…-blog.html ,
ended up going again in September to tour the Champagne trail and the weather was great. Good news is that it never put me off as i have been nearly every year since and will be going every year until i can no longer drive . 8-) 8-)

We've been in northern France since the 5th and now in Bruges Belgium. Thankfully we only had one real bad day which was the 5th, torrential rain, and since then it has been dry. Weather has been really good since the 7th and today was a scorcher in Bruges. Seems further south is getting it bad.

In Brem-Sur-Mer, Vendee. Arrived yesterday evening to glorious sunshine and heat. Then this morning constant rain to about 3pm, then fairly dry until now (9pm) and it’s raining again. Looks like a lot of rain over night and then maybe to improve for the next few days. (Hopefully)

It's good this past week apart from one day and odd shower down near alicante and the next week looks good. However retired ex pats and Dutch saying it's wettest they have seen in a long time in June.
Hit 30 here today and 28 tmw. We were looking to head back to France this week but staying put for another week.

Well folks, the mainland European weather is going to get better because the pissing rain is due back to us on Wednesday.
While it has great to see a working sun again over the last few weeks, I suppose that we will have to send it away for a while and get our 40 shades of green back.

In Saumur now and weather beautiful and looks to be good for rest of time here.
Many of the pitches in this campsite here were under water a few days ago, but fine now.

Are you on Ile d'Offard or somewhere outside the town?

We stayed on Ile d'Offard last summer and I can see it flooding in springtime but I'd be astonished if it flooded in June.

Currently in Honfleur and beautiful day. Rather than heading southerly we've stayed in Northern France and weather has been reasonably good.

We are home now. Rained on and off from Carnac up to roscoff. Dried up then and was a nice afternoon. The ferry was a bit rough last night according to swmbo. I slept through it all. The couple of beers probably helped. Unpacking the camper this afternoon, and get it ready for Scotland in three weeks

When the sun shines in Donegal there is nowhere better! (Its even better with a camper full of wine!) ... now if I could just wrangle a few more days off work! 🤔

Updates, please. 7 days and counting. How far south will we need to travel this year for the warmth we became accustomed to over the summer.

We have been here for 15 days so far and the metro.fr app has proved to be very accurate once again.
We have had one ten minute downpour at Saint Hilaire dez Reiz and one wet morning in Biscaross Plage.

Long range is less accurate on the app but currently shows good weather all over from the day you arrive.

Enjoy your trip.

Down in Agde near Beziers. In the 30s today and sunny. 22 at the moment. Into the last 2 weeks of our 7 week trip to France. Was due to home tomorrow but extended by 10 days because the weather was so good down around the Med
