Philips 22" TV - PFS4232/12 - DVB-T/T2 DVB-S2

I recently bought one of these Phillips 22inch TVs for me van and I thought I would share my experience.

I was mainly looking a 12volt TV, low power consumption, Terrestrial & Satellite inputs, light and slim. The spot where I would installing was going to limit me to a 22 inch, which is plenty in such a small space anyway IMO. After quite a bit of searching I came across this bargain on German Amazon:

I installed it yesterday and I am really impressed. Very decent viewing angles, running at 19 Watts. User interface is clean and fairly straight forward. So far I only tried an "Ireland" install and it sorted the Saorview channels correctly with a full EPG. I had to create a favourites channel list for Astra satellite and reorder manually. I will reinstall from scratch at some point as UK and see if it will sort the UK satellite channels a bit better automatically. You can save your channels list to USB, so that is handy. My only issue is that the satellite and terrestrial channels can't be combined into one list :( ... but that is not a big issue for me as I won't be using it that often and it is very common issue anyway.

in short ... 22 inch, 12 volt, Full HD, 2 x HDMI, Terrestrial & Satellite, 3cm thin, 2.6 Kg, 19 Watts consumption, record to USB .... delivered to RoI for €170. Hard to beat that!
