Sportster kit car

Got talking to the owner of one of these last weekend, at a petrol station in Cork.

I thought it was an original Porsche 356 first but he quickly clarified it was a Pilgrim kit car.

Based on the chassis of a 73/74 vw bug if I recall correctly.

He said it cost him roughly £10k all-in and it took him over 8 years to build it!

Curvy yumminess...

Looks a beauty,

Are you having thoughts for when you get the mighty V8 thumping and one of the said cars towed behind 😉

You'd never know! It has a nice short wheelbase too...

Not sure where I'd fit my two golden retrievers though. Might have to leave my wife at home when driving it!

I've seen this one around, it will really fool anyone as an original. A beautiful thing really!!
