I have a solar panel with Pro Power Inverter.
We have two leisure batteries in line.
All "Green" lights on Inverter.
Van control panel shows batteries as 14.5V level.
When on mains power - I have power at sockets.
On inverter 12v - no power at sockets.
I have checked all known/visible fuses.

Probably a silly question.

This has worked before on 12volt? Is this a new van to you ? Your inverter is wired to your 240 sockets? They usually are not.

Yes have had this set-up for some years and always worked.
Solar Panel on roof with a control box in a cupboard.
Extra leisure battery installed with panel.
both batteries in line to inverter.

Sounds like a cool setup!

Sorry can't help then, other than, have you tried plugging something straight into the inverter? That would rule out a faulty inverter.

Had not thought of that.
Just done it now - no power from the Pro Power inverter
It is some 3/4 years old - so may have failed.
Sounds like a new one needed !!!!!

There may be fuses directly on the inventor. Also there may be a temperature reset button on the invertor

Is the inverter wired directly to the electrical system or is the inverter connected through a cigarette socket?
If through a cigarette socket, the plug has a fuse inside, screw off the tip and a glass tube fuse should fall out.

Understand both batteries wired to inverter but is the inverter then wired directly to your 240v system if so that will have to be fused somewhere but if there is no power from the 240 socket on the inverter then agree it could be an inverter problem but 3/4 years is not old .It might be worth a phone call to their technical dept .
