There was a Knock at the Parocial House and when the priest answered it, there stood an old man holding a dead dog in a blanket. Father, he says this was my companion for 15 years he was called Jack and he was hit by a car and died. Do you think you could say a few prayers over him before I bury him in the garden ? Afraid not says the priest , I deal with people not animals but if you go on down the road to the Church of Irelands vicars house he may do something for animals. As he started to walk away he says, thank you Father, do think he would be offended with a 50 pound donation ? AcH NoW come back here, says the priest ,you didn't say he was a catholic dog

Very mirthful.

Reminds me of a Church of Ireland Minister hit a hare with his car and killed it. Being a nature lover he was upset as he got out of the car and observed the lifeless body.

But then......... a Catholic priest came round the corner and having been told of the situation by a tearful Minister produced a bottle of clear liquid which he sprinkled over the hare.

Amazingly the hare revived and bounded to the top of a nearby hill and turned round, raised a paw in goodbye, and sped off.

"I never thought I would say it, but that Holy Water is great stuff" says the Minister.

"Oh no", says the Priest, " that was Hair Restorer with a Permanent Wave".
