I have for sale a vintage Mercedes Autotrail Cherokee. She is just back from professional panel beaters where all new panel were replaced in cab and she has had a full cab respray. The windscreen was removed and new scuttle piece fitted which is a major problem in these vehicle. She benefits from a fresh 2 year CVRT cert yesterday. She gets 2 years Mot under new vintage laws. She has vintage tax classification. It has the legendary 2.4d engine which is bulletproof. 70,000 miles on the clock it would go around the world for you. It has 100w solar panel on the roof, gas hob sink and oven hot water and blow air heating etc.. No power steering so you will have to rely on the law of the lever. I have thousands put into this in body work. Genuine reason for selling as I have bought a larger Hymer A Class.

It looks brilliant for its age.
It would made a great character camper for someone with the added bonus of getting parts worldwide off the shelf.

Thanks Thorn123. She certainly does have loads of character getting admiring glances everywhere we go. A lot of older people used to drive the Mercedes T1 as delivery vans back in the 70s and 80s and into the mid 90s .Sadly many got exported out to Africa where I have no doubt that they are still on the road today in some form or other. I believe they still make them under licence in India. All parts are indeed readily available. We have had some great times in her.
