Ardglass marina are now accepting Motorhomes for overnight parking with various services on offer.

https://ardglassmarina.com/

N54 15’42.9696 W5 36’26.1036

tel:07711 232525 For more info
They are open now for bookings or visits but do not have full time staff so contact is advised.
6 bays are planned and available now with water and black disposal. EHU and a service point will be installed in the coming months.
Parking is in a secure compound which is gated and pin operated, level tarmac and accessible 24/7 after contacting the marina.
Access to excellent showers and toilet facilities in the marina building and coin operated washer dryers are on site. They also have WiFi which I understand is free.
Charges are expected to be £15 with EHU and £12 without, but still good value with the facilities on offer.
Open all year.

I have visited and spoken with Ricky LeBloas who is part of their voluntary management team. Their plans are well worth supporting. Ardglass has a couple of decent eating houses, pubs and of course its scenic harbour. This will be a really useful link in the chain of Aires.

Great to see another aire opening. I think over the next few years there will be many more. After all they are cost effective to set up and used most of the year by a lot of motorhomers.

Great news Davy and thanks for all your hard work. It’s a lovely area and the price is reasonable so well done to them. Must pay a visit this summer.

Please everyone park in the Marina, not in the outside, council run, car parks. I will add this to the App.

Some Motorhomers are still doing this. Please stop and do not ruin it for the rest of us.

So which car park should we be parking in? We've never been, but want to do it right when we do.

At a guess I'd go with below? -

I can see it on the app, but when you zoom in it looks like the car park above the one i marked with an X, which i thought was wrong because it's not the one with gates?

I'll have a look, it should be the Marina as the car park is frowned upon. I'm sure I used coordinates at the time I'll check now.....

I see what you mean, I've moved it to where I think it should be. I've never been there, can someone do an update pois on the app and double check. There is photos of it here somewhere.
