Id suggest that anybody booking with seatruck mention that you seen it here on MHC so they know the sponsorship is working for them👍👍

Thanks to Patrick (Nilrac) for starting of the initial contact

Don't forget folks, always ask when you are buying for discounts and advertisers. Seatruck and Motorhomecraic will be running some great competitions!!

Good service from Seatruck

A family member contacted me last week ,he had some aircraft parts arrived in Coventry in customs clearance from the US and he couldn't get them collected as they were not on pallets. A phone call to Luke in the booking office and he was on the Friday morning sailing with his 4x4 from Warrenpoint to Heysham ,back on Saturday night job done. He tells me he was more than pleased with the service. I have used Dublin to Liverpool myself on several occasions and was well pleased. Now remember this is a commercial ferry no frills but good meals and a bunk included in the price. Very good value. And I will be back out in June back July.

So have any of you booked with Seatruck?

Any feedback? on prices etc would be welcome, did you have a look to see how cheaper they were? what did you find?

I have seen complaints about no children and no pets, unfortunately, as they have explained, it is a freight boat and those are the conditions of carriage.

Feedback very welcome.

I know you get a bunk but do you have to share a cabin if say, you're a couple or a singleton?

Each cabin has two bunks and a shower toilet, very clean, The meals from a menu, with beer or minerals are one when you get on and one when you depart are served in a dining room with TV and coffee/tea self service all during the voyage. Used Warrenpoint to Heysham myself last month . Excellent Service. Now this is a commercial ferry so don't expect a cruise cusine

I have a friend (yes I do have one!) who was using it recently, they are currently away in their moho so cant get feed back until I see them in a couple of weeks.

I have looked at it, but the restrictions on no dogs & children can inhibit me in the summer as we usually have at least one of each with us, this year I was away in the car with 6 other passengers! So it was a no go.

Ref price ,it cost me £280 return, having booked before discounts were offered to club members I lost 10%. But when I added up bunks with tv, good meals, and complimentary cans of beer, I personally was well satisfied. Now this crossing does not suit everybody as it is primarily a ferry for trailers i.e.Tesco,and such like and they don't have the staff or the accomodation to suit all. As a golden oldie it suits me and the duchess.
