Well just made it away for the night in our new (to us) camper. Havent had a camper for a couple of years so its starting over for us. Spent the night parked up in car park opposite sliabh leag lodge in Carrick Donegal. Lovely quiet spot. Got dinner and breakfast in Sliabh Leag lodge where my daughter and her friend were staying after hike for Mental health up Siiabh Leag. Visited couple pubs in Kilcar where country music festival was running last night. Great music and craic Today we Visited Glencolmcille Folk Village. Noticed few campers had been parked up for the night in car park opposite the folk village. Lovely spot with path down to the beach which we walked. Scary run over Glengesh pass on way back. Scenery fab. Lovely stop at layby on way down the corkscrew bends with cabin doing coffee and “popcorn” beautiful views. Stopped off at the Cup an Tae festival in Ardara with great music both in pubs and on the street ate dinner in Kennedys in Glenties Lovely. Great wee trip for first night away looking forward to many more. Great to meet loads of campers on the road x
