Cheeky Request

Just after finishing the lunch where I was parked up when a tour bus pulls in behind me. As I got out, someone from the bus asked to use the toilet in the camper. I had visions of a queue of 50+ people forming so I said no.

Anyone else experience this?

Think I'd be inclined to refuse also. There's exceptions we can all think of I'm sure eg pregnant lady (as opposed to a pregnant man lol)

Had heard of someone being asked but when they said the fee was £50 the customer refused and got angry that they were going to charge so much 😂

You'll have to have some emergency to have the nerve to ask for a campervan toilet. And then again, if it's such an emergency I would definitely decline...

Surely they'll be a rare exception but I just don't see the scenario.

Of course not, I'd have had to let them use the toilet then, 52 cups of tea and 52 toilet trips, I'd be still there :)

Well done and a nice gesture but I would rather warm someone's babys bottle than let 52 people use my toilet.

Years ago when we had a caravan up in Donegal we had a toilet tent beside the caravan, one day a lady asked could she use the toilet,no problem my wife said and in she went,we had no problem letting one person use it but soon a queue formed,my neighbour who was with us in his caravan said to me "I wouldn't have let her use mine, look whats happening now" so next opportunity I had I put a pair of shoes with the toes sticking out under the canvas cover, anytime someone asked to use it we told them it was in use.

Now that's another story altogether... I'll be happy to do that and even offer a cuppa to the parents while we wait.

...but the jacks... that's sacred

Rami. did you still have your gas on, the last few times I went out through Rosslare, no sooner had we got into the line with about 3/4 of an hour before sailing, the gas police came around and waited until the saw me turn it off, wouldn't even give us a chance to put the kettle on, for a cuppa.
The stupid part, they only watched me turn off one bottle, I turned off the second one when the kettle boiled.( moral is if you want a cuppa, have it before you get into the queue.)

That sailing was in 2016.
We were not approached by anyone about turning off the gas even onboard
This was sailing with stena

with Irish Ferries, they now go through the whole line of campers and caravans and make you show them it turned off and then you have to display a card in the windscreen to say the gas is off.
Horses for courses.
