Great result for the vintage vehicle people.

Now, how about all motorhomes being given a 2 year certificate irrespective of age.
Last year the authorities in France changed the law to 2 year certs for over 10 year olds in recognition of the low annual mileage, or should that be kilometreage, such vehicles cover.

I would like to see it happening but I don't think it will while rusty motorhomes are still being presented to test centers for testing, rust has nothing to do with mileage, maybe Motorhomes rust less in France due to the climate, I don't know.

I don't think it has anything to do with rust.
If rust IS present it would be up to the tester to consider if it is likely to become structurally threatening before the next test, if it already isn't, and order it be remedied before issuing a pass certificate.

Contrary to what we were led to believe by The RSA annual testing of private passenger vehicles IS NOT currently an EU requirement.
