I remember the kids talking about it every time they were dinghy sailing in Dun Laoghaire. They always hoped the sailing area was towards Dublin bay.

It may be the first official location, but there a beach south of Brittas bay where it has been going on for years.
A cousin of mine was nearly arrested there 20 years ago because he was mowing a meadow. Seeming the visitors rang the garda because he was repeatedly turn a tractor every 2 minutes on the headland over the beach. His boss baled the hay a week later.
In fairness, it will be only open for 2 months of the year because The Irish sea rarely gets above 14°c.

There won’t be too many days in this country that the beach will be used I would have thought? Will be interesting to see the reaction of folk in this country as with the Pope coming moral standards will suddenly rise I would have thought?

Well I think that someone should be going to investigate and not going to suggest who but there is one very active member who we know is highly qualified for the role who in their own word says that they have now qualified as a nudist after
