We have changed how the usermap works. So that we never lose the POI's again, only Admin, Moderators and Map Admins can add locations to the map.

If you have a spot to share please post it here and it will be added once it is confirmed that it is correct. We want the usermap to be as close as possible to save members any problems when visiting the spots so all spots will be verified before going onto the map.

Our new Map admin "Tom" (Hymer 524) is working very hard to get all the POI's added again, they are being verified and checked before being added, most of them also have photographs to help once you visit the POI.

Thanks Tom

An alternative spot in the same area is Luimnagh Pier which is a little closer to Galway and less of a drive from the N84. Loads of space here but no services or pub. It is signposted off the N84 (big brown sign so it is hard to miss).

The free parking spot at Glengarriff village in Co Cork cannot be used any more. The owner has banned overnight parking of campervans in the carpark.

Thanks for that Bernard, I was down in kerry for the weekend and I herd a rumor about that, thanks for confirming It  :-)
I will update the map.

There is still the Bamboo park for a small fee, and the street parking. And there is also to Campsites just outside the town.

The usermap has been removed, we basically had two maps the usermap and a google map, updating both required hours of work. The usermap had limited capabilities so we decided to do away with it and just use the Google Map which is far superior.

The google map is available in our downloads section (KML file) you download it and open it in Google Earth.

You must be a SUBSCRIBED member to access our downloads & much more.

Please read HERE reference subscribing.
