Just spent a very quiet and relaxing weekend in Carrygerry, Co Clare. The location; Carrygerry Country House Hotel where we were made very welcome. This is a small Boutique Hotel with only 11 bedrooms but has a gravelled area outside where parking for motorhomes is possible.
Overnight parking for a Motorhome is €10 or, if you have an evening meal in their, award winning, restaurant then parking is FREE.
There are no facilities on site for emptying or filling etc. so arrive fully stocked. I cannot stress enough just how welcoming these people are and the food in the restaurant is absolutely fabulous.
Location is between Shannon and Ennis, GPS 52.7168 N. 8.9303 W. Telephone 061 360500, call before arriving as there is space for only 2 or 3 motorhomes, depending on size. Contact Gillian or Charlotte.
