Have any of you guys used a Motorhome satellite? I have found a co mag satellite because I think the kids will be needing a little bit fo comfort throughout our holiday. Do they work everywhere? is there any special connections needed?

I have one installed but haven't hardly used it and don't know much about it - sorry! There is a forum for satellites etc - I'll move this topic there and you may see some other relevant advice too!

It's very similar to your sky dish setup at home , Aldi sometimes do a portable kit with all you need or Google motorhome sat kits , signal can be picked up all over Ireland, Britain and north of Bordeaux in France

I got this one from Germany, £180 with free postage on EBay. I already had the tripod. It has An Easyfind system to locate the satellite of your choice. You get all the freesat channels. In the south of France I could only connect to the Astra 1 satellite. But still had a number of English speaking news channels. Very pleased with it for the price. It comes in a plastic case and is easy to store away.
