We were suppose to go but we got nailed to mind my bother kids as they have a wedding. Looks like it's a weekend of Thomas the tank, fireman Sam and what ever trash is shown to kids today. I work beside Stradbally Hall and the parking layout and entrance seem to be improved significantly. I tell ye tomorrow as to how long it takes to get home from work.

This is my first time going and really don't know what to expect. I've been assured that it's great craic. For some reason I can't get the image of being towed out of a field by a tractor out of my head. Please tell me it isn't so!

ah im sure you will be fine. unles theres a deluge for 3 days. And if you are stuck, and need to be towed out, sure you will still be on the road in no time.
think positive, or you will not enjoy the picnic. Worrying about what might happen isnt worth it, when it most likely wont.
Enjoy yourself.

Duly noted. I'm really looking forward to it, never thought I'd be standing in a field at 12.00am listening to Duran Duran. Can't wait!

Been quite a few times both working and as a punter.

It's worth experiencing that's for sure. I think I would only go back if I got free tickets but I have my 'festival' reasons for that and there are thousands and thousands of people who enjoy it every year.

Be prepared for it to be wet and pray that it isn't, be prepared for a long walk from CV field, no chairs allowed in arena, none of your own alcohol allowed in Arena.

But most of all as with any festival, it is what you make it, so wear your smile at all times and you will have the best weekend of your life :D

Went up this evening to leave camper for my daughter and boyfriend. I was amazed at the amount of campers there. I was number 164. Got talking to security people, they said they are expecting 970 campers and caravans. That's mad. A full 3-4 meters between them all as well maybe next year I'll go myself

Just don't forget you're wellies or the rain gods will get angry 😂

Be prepared for all weathers is probably the best advice I would give
