hey, everyone! This is our family's first motorhome! we have been caravanners prior but absolutely love motorhomes. Many people have looked at us in disbelief whilst out having fun as my wife and I are 30 and 33 respectively with 3 young children!

Please let me know any comments you have, they will be warmly received!

I have spent from July 2016 doing as much as I can to it and a lot of work has gone into it both mechanically and cosmetically! It looked like a workhorse when I got it! 🇧🇭

its currently in storage and i will upload the interior when it returns :D

I just wanted to share our purchase with like-minded individuals who can appreciate the awesomeness of these machines and the fun memories they can and I'm sure will bring!

I hope to contribute to the site often!

Gareth And Kerrie :D

Thanks, ladies and gents for all your kind and positive feedback! one thing our family loves is the friendly waving from most other motorhome drivers! When we picked it up across the water and brought her back to NI on the ferry we couldn't believe it, myself driving, personally, I was absolutely loving it, I felt like we were now part of an elite group even know she is an old girl in comparison to some of the vans I see, which absolutely blow my mind with the luxury! I live close by the abbey caravans in Newtownabbey so we are forever having a right old nosey and aspire to one day own one of those vehicles! :D

Just a heads up to any member reading, if any advice is needed on an aspect of their van be it mechanical/electrical or anything really, I will try my best to help as I've served my time in diesel fitting and I thoroughly enjoy sharing what knowledge I have with everyone.

Have a nice evening to all of you and may 2017 be your best year yet for motor homing :D :D :D

Gareth and Kerrie.

Congratulations on the new van, it looks fabulous. With three young children, it is one of the best investments that you could possibly make - well done! Wishing you and your family many happy miles and memories.

Hi Gareth and Kerrie, congrats on the van. I have to totally agree with previous comments, we also have small kids and got our van a year ago ... the best decision ever, bar none!!!! We have seen and experienced more in the past year than I could have ever imagined. I love the fact that when the kids come home and say they are learning about something like the Giants Causeway we can jump in the van and go experience it.

I also totally agree with you on getting / giving a wave on the road, there is something nice about passing a Motorhome and getting a wave from them.

Hello Gareth And Kerrie,
I must congratulate you both on your purchase...it looks great.
You live in Ireland and bought your van in England, I live in England and am soon to pick up a new Rapido in Ireland. There are two main reasons why most of us don't buy a Motorhome when they are young, one is finding the money, the other is finding the time, you have already found one, now make sure you find the other and take plenty of photos to look back on, your children will grow fast and be gone before you know it.
Health and happiness to you all,
Floorman.

We bought our motorhome when our oldest of three was three years old. Now five years on and a fourth kid later, we would say it was hands down the best investment we have ever made. Brilliant family adventures and the ability to run away for a weekend without the hassle of hotel bookings etc. We wish you the very best with your new hobby, Phelim & Sara
