The website says the ticket allows "unlimited parking" anyone know if overnighting is allowed/tolerated?
The car park look huge and I'd like to be there for dawn and dusk to do some photography.

I'm loathe to email the visitor centre to ask, because sometimes asking "officially" gets you the "official" answer.

I looked on Streetview and couldn't see any and there was a coach in the car park.

I did wonder if things had changed. I suppose if they have had "problems" height barriers may have followed.

Do you know where coaches park now?

Somehow I'd missed this on the CofM website.

Getting here by Campervan

What better way to see the beauty of Ireland, then by renting a camper van. Getting to the Cliffs of Moher can be daunting when you see the small Irish roads, but don’t be afraid, once you stay on your side of the road everything will be fine. Winding your way to the Cliffs of Moher, you can use the many lay-bys to stop and admire the spectacular views. What better way than to enjoy them than with a hot steaming cup of tea from your camper van. There is no height restrictions for campervans.

Have stayed in car park on numerous occasions over the last ten years or so I usually go in After it's closed or closing
As enjoy the Cliffs more without the bus loads of tourist's.The Car park attendant was taking off the automated barriers
As I was going in the last year 8pm approx and told me if I was out early in the morning there would be no charge.I stay
at the back of the Car park furthest from the entrance.Did the new Visitors attraction and enjoyed it also. For food go to
Vaughans in Liscannor also Harbour here I've stayed in car park on left signs up but never had a problem.

Hello fellows,

Sorry for digging this old topic out but maybe someone finds it helpful.

We parked at the official Cliffs of Moher parking and asked parking attendant if it's ok to stay overnight in motorhome. She said it's absolutely fine and showed us where we can get access to water etc.

Good luck!

P.s All parkings in Liscannor and Doolin have 'no camping' signs up but we stayed there no problem (it's Feb so not to many people about anyway :).

That's my attitude just ignore the signs and if challenged or asked to move, then move on. Very seldom have I been asked to move.
