Think I got the deal of the year, as our m/h has no oven and only a grill I felt that cooking was limited, but if you wait long enough the goods will come to you,I came across a brand new smev oven grill on gumtree a couple in Bangor just changed their camper and wanted a micro wave instead of an oven,so had it changed service ovens sell £350.00 +vat I picked this up for £150

Cheers ally will get in touch with him ,maybe you can tell me have you got a vent at the back of your oven as in the installation instructions for this oven it doesn't say that you need a vent through the van

I have a vent, but I don't know enough about it to say what is or is not needed.

nice one! you got a good bargain there, we have the grill only one in ours it was fitted by previous owner
but just after fitting he left the grill tray in braked hard and the class door shattered! never got around to replacing it, but it still does the toast.

you got a great deal there were you wearing the Poncho and Sombrero when you collected :D.

I have just fitted a Second hand in our van, on the lookout for one a bit more up to date.

On the one I fitted then air is drawn in trough a grill on the bottom and the heat vents out trough a grill on the top ,the oven vent is in the middle of the upper grill
I also insulated around the inside of the cabinet to stop heat transfer.
going to introduce it to the Chicken tomorrow.

Cheers splinter, you know what they say even dick Turpin wore a mask, and good things will come to those who wait ,I didn't think that a vent was required for that oven as you say the heat is vented out the front ,but just to be on the safe side I'm going to fit a 40 mm 12volt fan so when I switch the oven on the fan will come on just to take any excess heat from the back of the oven.
