Spotted a very nice MH parking area on Valentia island recently within easy walking distance to Knights town, the main village on Valentia.

Parking at 51.92356,-10.287433

To save yerself a few quid I'd recommend not taking the small seasonal ferry to Valentia. Theres a perfectly good bridge at the southern end of the island in Portmagee. Nice pub here (the bridge bar) with good food. 51.885862,-10.365558

Just by way of update, they've shortsightedly put up "No camping" signs at this layby.. Not entirely sure it would be enforced! there are 10-15 car parking spaces directly opposite the Royal Valentia hotel with no signs or restrictions on them.
