hi folks. this website might be of help .it is norwegan based,but it is a very accurate and detailed forecast. it may be of interest to anyone going abroad also. www.yr.no/ireland.

Hi all,

Used this app last September in France and Spain and found it very accurate. Also for nearer home met eireann now do a 7 day forecast on their app which helps auld fellas like me, who being retired can up and go in their van when there is a chance the sun might shine 8-) :sun:

There is a black art in there somewhere every time I click on the app in the above post up pops, motorhomeparking app

Seriously I have used XCWeather.co.uk for years and can't find fault, you get full scope on the 7-day forecast

Always use yr.no for weather whether home or away, even check to see what weather my son has in NZ.
Not planning any route in France, and will travel in direction of sun.

I also have been using yr.no for a couple of years and have found lately that good old met eireann is more accurate local to where I live anyway, must also say that I also like the new like the new met eireann app
