Anyone with a Ducato 2.8 should check this.

Coolant hose from the header tank to the cooling system.

Mine was rubbing off the engine removal bracket and wore through. Could have been an expensive fix

Eamonn, checked mine,2003 Peugeot 2.8 boxer and my top hose is steel to a rubber pipe just below that lifting eye.So if you fitted that you would solve that problem

Mine too steel at that point. I do see some plastic clips just above the steel pipe where maybe there was rubber hose before or maybe on an earlier version

Mine has a brass fitting in it now until I can get a new one next week. Was doing an engine level check yesterday and noticed the header tank empty. I've removed the offending bracket and keep it in the tool box.

I should point out mine is LHD so maybe that's why some hoses differ.
Brought her up to Glenmalure on Sunday, no issues. Noticed the carpark at the Glelmalure Inn had signs up that it was a private car park, probably aimed at the walkers rather than the MH owners.
